DIY SUGAR BODY SCRUB

Happy Monday, lovelies! Here in Michigan, we are snowed in – so it’s a perfect day to catch up on some blogging. The last few weeks months have been quite a blur, and there’s so much we’ve been working on but haven’t had time to share with you…until now that is!

So I’m 36 weeks pregnant today, let me say that again, I’M THIRTY SIX WEEKS PREGNANT TODAY! When did this happen?! This pregnancy has flown by, which is great, but sometimes I wish it would slow down just a tad so I could capture and share all the wonderful (and terrifying) things that come along with being pregnant! But then again, I’m not sure who wants to read about heartburn so bad that I wake up gagging in the middle of the night, so maybe it’s best to keep some things to myself…

But one thing I am excited to share with you is my baby shower! Thanks to my amazing family and friends, it was such a fun afternoon filled with games, pink and gold everything as well as yummy sweets and treats – so all my favorite things!

One of the party favors I included in the “Sugar & Spice” gift bags was a homemade sugar scrub – a Sugar Baby Scrub to be specific. While this is for adults, it leaves your skin feeling baby soft with a touch of that intoxicating new baby scent. The recipe is below – it is so easy to whip up for yourself or to give as a gift!
