A crunchy, seasoned, healthy snack…we’re sold! After scouring Pinterest for recipes, we came up with our own twist on roasted chickpeas – chili garlic chickpeas. (Say that five times fast!)
We had just wrapped shooting our first personal style post and were looking for a quick snack. Enter, chickpeas…
After a quick rinse and dry, arrange chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes (we only did for 25 minutes because we’re impatient girls, but that resulted in slightly soft centers, so we highly recommend following directions!). At about 17 minutes, pull the baking sheet out and shake the peas to roll them around a bit. Put the tray back in and twiddle your thumbs.
Once the timer sounds, pull out the roasted chickpeas and spray with olive oil while they’re still hot. Toss with chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Keep tossing for an even coat.
This recipe is SUPER easy, and not to mention addicting! And chickpeas are full of fiber and protein, so go ahead and indulge, you deserve it!
